About Paso Robles
Paso Robles (pop. 24,000) is 25 miles inland from the central California coast, halfway
between San Francisco and Los Angeles, in northern San Luis Obispo County. The city of
San Luis Obispo is a 30-minute drive south. The warm summers and moderate winters are
influenced by the ocean.
Rated one of the top 50 towns to live and work in (Money Magazine, "Great Towns With
Great Jobs,") Paso Robles has a picturesque downtown square, two libraries, antique shops,
hot springs, horse ranches, and wineries. Newly built Cuesta Community College and Cal Poly
University are close by.
The local wine industry has tours and brings many
cultural events to the area. Nearby outdoor
recreation is abundant, including hiking & biking, camping, fishing, kayaking, swimming,
surfing and beach strolling.
